Our Mission
The mission of the Tijssen Football Foundation is to give children in underprivileged areas worldwide a fair chance at a better future through football. We believe that every child deserves a dream and needs the talent and guidance to make it come true. By combining football with personal development, education, and guidance, we create a safe environment in which children can grow, both athletically and mentally. We want to discover, encourage, and guide talent appropriately, with an eye for discipline, self-confidence, and responsibility. Our mission is not just to help, but to make a lasting impact. By continually expanding our projects, we are working towards a sustainable program that offers children perspective, develops their potential, and gives them the opportunity to shape their own future.
Our History
The Tijssen Football Foundation was born from years of commitment to children in underprivileged areas. Long before the foundation was officially established, we were working behind the scenes to support children worldwide through football, food supply, and education. Always with one goal: to offer children hope, structure, and opportunities. In 2025, this commitment was formalized with the establishment of the Tijssen Football Foundation. From that moment on, we have actively and visibly worked to further expand and professionalize our mission. Since our official establishment, we have organized various sporting events and initiatives worldwide, using football as a unifying force. These activities bring children together, stimulate talent development, and create moments of joy, growth, and perspective. What began as a passion to help has grown into a foundation with a clear vision for the future. With every step we take, we continue to build sustainable projects that give children the opportunity to dream, grow, and shape their own future.
